COLLATERAL DAMAGE I've walked the desert for miles I've seen my best friends fight and die We've got the truth on our side so I don't mind We keep the love from our lives There is no time to feel broken hearted Only the strong will survive I have a feeling that something's gonna blow I've got an itch and I can't quite scratch it It's there when I sit still There must be peace at the end of this last war I'm going in for the kill My gun gives and it takes But our destination is all the same And I just follow orders so I'm not to blame I'm trained to do what I know I've grown detached from the greater good here I'm not at ease 'less I go I have a feeling that something's gonna blow No turning back I lived and killed for my country And I've got hooked on the thrill I've got the truth and I'll stay on the right side I'm going in for the kill This is my war! We march in time and the wheels keep on turning We’ve got a purpose to fill I'm not so sure that it's peace that we want here I'm going in for the kill “The truth is more important than the facts.” - Frank Lloyd Wright

STATE OF MINE If there's a place for everyone this one's a state of mine where individuals stand side by side Where politics and discontent, angst and DIY grow into roots of the future Into to a place where people really care Folk singers and grindcore bands can stand a common ground fuelled by the same raw creative drive Something more than power chords and beats in double time; uncompromised self-expression Just a place where people really care This is my friends and a new family One based on bonds and a common philosophy And when my life has choked the last of me This time was all mine We question the conventions as we build communities Innovation rises from free ideas Worldwide dedication gives a reason to believe, far beyond profits and deadlines In a place a where people really care This is my friends and a new family And there will be no Gods and no masters

PARTY ON THE HILLSIDE Let’s have a party on the hillside, let’s forget it all Fuck this depression 'cause we’re all dying I need a drink, one for good health You need a drink, one for the next one Let’s all just pretend that it’s 1929 Once we had something to live for, now we only fight against We fell outside; our world will not be burning I need a drink to blur my outlook You need a drink, one for the next one Let’s all just pretend that it’s 1929 Let’s have a party on the hillside, let’s all leave with a blast Yeah, I can live with that I’ll die denying I need a drink, one for last breaths You need a drink, one for the next one Let’s all just pretend that it’s 1929 “Every wave, regardless of how high and forceful it crests, must eventually collapse within itself.” - Stefan Zweig

GREAT IDEAS NEED LANDING GEAR I have an idea to change the world; a way to make it better I pitched it to my boss, he says it’s gonna make us rich I had a chat with marketing, they say we’re gonna reach out to millions They only had a few quite reasonable suggestions But I know it’s gonna be better for everyone It’s gonna be better for our daughters and sons Yeah I know it’s gonna be better for everyone But great ideas need landing gear I made some calls to find the funding but the investors didn’t like it So I ironed out the edges and took a few requests Then I got some urgent issues and only I could fix them So I was taken off, now I think some intern’s now on the project But I know it’s gonna be better for everyone It’s gonna be better for our daughters and sons It’s gonna be better for everyone But great ideas need landing gear “Great ideas need landing gear as well as wings” - C.O. Jackson

No Refunds 02:17
NO REFUNDS It’s not me who is making enemies based on old scriptures out of time Not me, I don’t care, all I believe: our purpose is our own to find It’s not me who’s supposed to prove that something that we cannot see is not there Not me. Find a better argument than someone wrote it down somewhere There’s so much opportunity to find a reason to be Don’t you think it’s kind of freeing knowing there’s no more to see here when you close your eyes It’s not me living by some odd idea that life will really start the day it ends Not me, if there is a Hell I know I’ll be going with my friends My music, friends and family give me a reason to be But I think it’s really freeing knowing there’s no more to see here when I close my eyes There’s this one opportunity to find a reason to be Life’s much easier to swallow when there’s no right path to follow And your purpose is your own to find “Religions are like wisdom teeth; even though they were crucial to our ancestors, today they are unnecessary and they bring nothing but frustration and pain. Also, they provide us with no wisdom. ” - Unknown

The live tracks on the b-side of this tape were all performed by Niels
Höjgaard Sörensen, equipped with a blues harp/kazoo neck strap-on, on a cloudy afternoon on Judgement Day (12/12/12) in Slagterens Bodega in front of a dice playing audience of regulars. The microphones were put in the bar the night before by a porter drinking Rasmus Glassau Clausen who also later mixed and mastered the sound captured by the microphones.
All in all, it was a great day for great music in a place where no one really cared…
